Man has deviated from the original plan simply because he wants to satisfy his curiosity, gain knowledge and find the essence of everything. In the name of doing things differently, breaking records and going beyond status quo, man has gone insane and wild! So much have been abused, misused, devalued and debased. The heart keeps wondering and its search ends in nothing but futility and foolishness, bearing fruits of shame and pain!

Man wants to test his every observation, prove every theory and make his own laws. The natural laws he refers to as old and archaic. He wants to follow his heart and feelings and live life to the fullest without restrictions on his decisions nor actions. As a result, man keeps on wandering far and far away from his creator but still he does not find essence or purpose! He makes life complicated, difficult and useless for himself. Despite all his search, he dies with so many questions unanswered.

Oh man! The answers to the questions you ask, the knowledge, understanding and wisdom you seek, the essence and purpose you need to know, the pleasure and fun you desire, all lies with your creator! The further you go away from him the further you go from all the answers you seek! There is no other way, you may want to manipulate your way around things but end up wasting your life! "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life..." He holds the mystery you want to unravel. "The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him..." Acknowledge him today! Do you realize that just like Jacob ran away from his family so Moses ran away from his people? Do you also realize that Jacob returned to his father with so many blessings; wives, children, oxen, and asses, flocks, menservants, and women servants?
But for Moses, his wife, two sons and his rod were all he had to return to his people in Egypt and he finally got to Egypt with just his rod.

In our contemporary days, we will declare Jacob as blessed and Moses as a loser simply because we fail to understand God's agenda for each one of them. We are good at comparing ourselves with others, people say things like "are they not all Christians? Is it not the same God? Why is he not as wealthy as the other brother or sister? Why won't God bless me like he is blessing that sister or brother?"

God intended to establish his covenant with Abraham in his grandson, Jacob who was renamed Israel and so he did. Therefore, Israel was so blessed but Moses was intended by God to be a deliverer, who will bring the children if Israel out of Egypt. So, there was actually no need for Moses to return with so much into Egypt since he needed to bring out that which was already there.

When God deals with us individually, do not think you are not favoured. He will definitely make available all that is needed to make his agenda for your life to come to pass.

Riches and material possessions are no measurement for God's faithfulness. Even in our present situations, God remains faithful! Happy Sunday!

"But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour..."

He knows what you are going through and he is working out things for your favour! There is no need to feel alone and abandoned... Happy Sunday!

Faith! Faith! Faith! How do people even get faith? How do they believe what is obviously not obtainable? The impossible actually becomes possible for people with faith but how come they have such faith?

I just can't believe when I know I can't help the situation, I do believe in God but not to this extent...

Faith comes and grows by simply hearing the word of God! The man with greater faith simply has more of the word of God!

Note, not just the letters like recitations of the scripture but an understanding, a revelation of God's word... Feed on his word and your faith will grow for the just shall live by faith! Happy Sunday.

"For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

I don't know about you but I am tired of worrying over nothing! I took out time to count and i'm amazed how God shows up for me in desperate and hopeless situations!

Even if he allows me go through the fire, I wonder how I go through it without getting hurt and when he decides to deliver me he really does not need my assistance to do that! I can guess this too is your testimony then, why do we still worry?

In as much as I have handed it all to him, I don't care anymore what the surrounding circumstances is saying. My new motto is "God is aware".

Of a truth, our frets and worries only leave us miserable and our situations complicated...Happy Sunday!
