A Lamentation For The Man Christ Died For! Why Have You Refused To Be Delivered?

Oh man! Why have you continued in the bondage from which you were delivered? "...For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil." How is it that you allowed yourself to be a tool in the hand of the wicked one and as such you became a prey whose expectation is nothing but pain and anguish. When the Scripture says "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows..." 

Despite the price that was paid for you, you choose to suffer defeat and cruelty in a wicked world! You still wallow in iniquity and uncleanliness, consumed with guilt, struggling with sicknesses and troubles! Meanwhile,"...he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

 Why have you chose to walk in darkness and reject the light of God? "In him was life; and the life was the light of men." You do not believe in him therefore, you walk in the flesh making yourself an enemy of God. "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." You have no hope nor assurance, your life is a threat to you, every now and then, you are scared of death. Whereas, Jesus came to give us life. 

"I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Jesus has paid the price for you, you should not be a victim anymore, be reconciled to your maker and walk in liberty. "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 

Someone once said "Even if you were the only sinner on earth, Christ would have still died!" That is how much you mean to him. He is calling out to you this morning and it is my earnest prayer that you will heed his call! Shalom!
