"...But As For Me And My House, We Will Serve The LORD."

"Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

How are you going to serve God this year? Let it not be a year you pursue hard after so many things leaving God behind, a life spent chasing after things without God is simply a wasted life! What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loose his soul? People fail to acknowledge God therefore, they get lost in pursuit of vanity! If you give him his place in your life and let him be your Lord and master, you have assurance no matter what happens this year and however the year maybe. 

What ever you you hope on that is not God maybe your ability or money or man will fail you. Any life whose central focus is on someone or something else apart from Jesus is not going to stand the test of time.  "They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever." 

Seek to know him more this year, let the love of God guide and restrain you and your utmost desire should be to do his will and please him! The bible says the footsteps of a righteous man are ordered by God! Do not make your life all about you, Jesus should be at the center of your life and he will sure direct your affairs aright! It's the first Sunday of the year, 2019 decide to serve God this year and I'm promising you, you will not regret it! Happy Sunday!
