Do You Remember? They Are All Reasons To Be Thankful!

Congratulations people! It's the last Sunday of the year, 2018! Do you have reasons or a reason to be grateful to God? Do you actually know what it means to be grateful? Our experiences, challenges and successes in the year 2018 differ but in all, each and everyone of us can attest to it that God is faithful and his mercies endures forever! Do you remember when you were so so sick that you thought you were going to die? 

That ghastly motor accident, God delivered you from? We do not realize God's protection until that moment when someone is almost knocked down by a car, it is not just normal but an indication of God's protection that we walk in our streets or travel on the high way and arrive safely! There were times you were very broke and needy but God provided, other times you were confused and confounded but he made a way, giving you light in your darkness and made your crooked path straight! 

Not to talk of the unseen battles he keeps fighting for us that we know nothing about! You will be an ingrate if you withhold your gratitude because of the things you could not achieve, he preserved you despite all you went through! Those times you felt alone and abandoned he was always there with you. 

"When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee". You have dwelt enough on the negative aspects of the year, it's time to appreciate God for life and every thing positive and even the negative for they have made you wiser, stronger and better! "Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's"
