Sometimes, no matter your discipline, you find it difficult to focus simply because of an unbalanced life style. You over work yourself and give yourself too little or no time to rest/relax.
Your effectiveness and productivity decreases with lack of a well balanced regular activity! For instance, if your career or job is your topmost daily priority and your social life or your health is unattended to on a regular basis even if not on a daily basis, soon you become less effective and worn out.
The same and even more happens when you have no spiritual balance. Also, misplacement of priorities contributes to poor performance...
