We have different lights which shine differently, some shine with more intensity than others. The absence of darkness is light, base on their different intensities light will either overcome darkness or not!
If your light has a lesser intensity, it simply means it as well has a lesser potency, strength and ability therefore, it will shine lesser and if care is not taken, it goes out easily.
There is no guarantee that your little will keep shinning because it is light, in the presence of enormous darkness that little light can easily go out... Anything that do not increase will in no time decrease. How intense is your light?
