I use to feel bad because I'm not out spoken and free like some of my friends. They say "girl you are just too reserved". I tried and made every effort to be an extrovert but the more I tried the more depressed I became. It was obvious that I was only acting and I was never good at it rather I lost my identity...

The best you can do is to accept yourself for who you are, it is your personality! Of which, if you appreciate and celebrate others will have no choice but to accept you though it may take time.

You really don't have to be like them to be with them. There is so much joy in being you!
