Let The Count Down Begin Though, Some People Started Counting Since August And Others In January Even

It's Christmas and New celebration, the season of the year with so much excitement, great joy and happiness as people anticipate the reunion of family and friends, moments cherished for a life time. So much is attached to this season by almost everybody though with different reasons. Christ is the reason for the season and celebrating the gift of life in a new year. But for some it is a time for celebrating and coming together with friends and family to relax from the struggle of the year. 

A period for them to catch fun, visit, exchange gifts, having a lot to eat, drink and put on beyond what they do on a regular basis. Whatever your motivation for the celebration is, It is painful how the lives of so many come to ruin and are destroyed for a two day celebration or rather, for a period of two weeks! People tend to be loose and undisciplined, taking off the limits just to enjoy the fun of the season but end up messing up their lives. 

Some run into debt and financial crisis of which their financial plans for the new year starts failing already, they spend beyond what they can afford just to satisfy their appetite for food, drinks, clothes, outings and what have you! Some relationships and marriages crumble in this season either as a result of lack, insufficiency, greed or infidelity. Some parents fail to meet the needs of their children, some men fail to meet the needs of their wives and in a home or relationship where understanding is lacking, this becomes an issue.

Meanwhile, most men and even ladies tend to be so loose in the name of  fun and end up cheating on their partners, at the end of the day, the joy, happiness and togetherness in such relationships or homes is ruined. Some other persons end up on sick beds and even in the mortuary. 

Most times we attribute it all to the spiritual forces that operate in "mber months", as much as we can not underestimate these spiritual forces even so we should not underestimate the consequences of our choices and actions in this season. Many young dreams and destinies are ruined in this season all in the name of fun. What exactly do you call fun? Who told you fun is getting drunk and becoming unconscious?

The euphoria that comes with this season has destroyed so many, it is not a time where you get or do all you want and this does not insinuate fun in any way. Some persons say it is not easy to make it to the new year but in the course of celebration for the new year they loose their lives due to recklessness. 

Choose wisdom and you will walk in safety this period. Do not be a victim of the season, spend your money wisely, relate with friends peacefully and with caution and most of all avoid anything that will ruin your life or family. Any fun at the detriment of your family, marriage, relationship, life etc is not worth it. Compromising your standard or values is no fun but simply surrender! Do not live hereafter to regret your actions this season rather, let the joy be long lasting, the peace for a lifetime and the togetherness of family for ever.
